has anyone ever done blood typing with parent permission?  I have always assumed that it would not be a good idea to try this and have has students work with a simulation lab but i think it would be really cool to actually have student type their own.  probably not going to happen in this day in age, eh?

As a veteran teacher of 22 years, I wouldn't bring it up.  You won't be teaching at your assigned school and I would guess you might come across as one of those "can change the world" student teachers (which is not a bad thing at all but way too often curmudgeony  veterans get this impression).  Be the amazing first year teacher and implement them when you land your first job.  Your administrator ...
