Gabriela Rose

Gabriela Rose, science coordinator for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit Math & Science Collaborative in Pittsburgh, provides professional development for science educators PreK-12. She has facilitated Teacher Leadership Academies, STEM Professional Learning Communities, Lesson Study, Learning Labs, and Science Teacher Networks, as well as STEM professional development for children’s librarians. She assists school districts with curriculum alignment, effective instruction, and coaching. Gabriela is the principal investigator for Storytime STEM-packs, an innovative PreK-3 project that integrates science, math and engineering activities into children’s literature. Gabriela is a Next Generation Science Standards curator, serving to evaluate resources for a library of resources on the NGSS@NSTA hub that support the Next Generation Science Standards.
