Great Resource for getting your lessons together
This SciGuide is full of creative ideas and resources to possible lesson plan ideas.
I do teach 3rd grade so was hesitant about he title, however, there was tons of stuff I could use at my level, as well as things I could alter a little to fit.
I was able to find a rich source of lesson plans in areas such as environment, resources, and human impact. I found an idea I had forgotten about that I am surely going to use in regards to ecosystems and the information helped me to organize and develop my unit for environmental science.
There is so many useful lesson plans, links to websites with even more information that I was not able to go through it all.
Will use this resource as long as I am able to.

Some stuff, I will need to supplement elsewhere
Compared to some of the other SciGuides, this one does not have as much content. There is a couple lesson plans that can be used but nothing that fits my concept of what is applicable for my class. There are a few great links to outside activities for kids to practice. I will be needing to create my own, and I will be doing a broad search on the NSTA website to see if there is any other ideas.

Tons of Resources
This Sci guide has tons of resources! I don't see needing any other resources to plan my lesson for rocks. The sciguide is a nice companion to the scipack, rocks.
