I am a Hispanic/Latino immigrant, who loves and practices sports (specially soccer), guided by the idea of a “healthy mind in a healthy body” and currently serving as a 7th and 8th grade teacher in a dual-language program in Chicago. As an educator, I strongly believe in Social Justice. My actions inside/outside the classroom are guided by equality and the availability of equal opportunities for all. Therefore, I always try to implement and practice these ideas as part of my teaching philosophy.
