Hello, I am about to graduate and become a new teacher.  I've seen some activities and lesson I want to do when I become a teacher, but what do I do if the whole grade level decides to do an activity I don't like or doesn't take my activity/lesson recommendation.  Also, it is a good idea to use previous year lesson plans that are just forward to me and just needs to be tweaked  or is it better ...

Hello, I wanted to know what do you do when kindergartners become frustrated and discouraged with the STEM activity.  For example, the students did a STEM activity on building bridges using toothpicks and marshmallows, but some students after a few failed attempts, refused to continue to try and became discouraged.  So, what do you recommend I do?

Hello Leslie, A way you can incorporate STEM into the classroom is by at least having the students do an activity one a month. This activity should relate to topics and concepts taught during that month. STEM incorporates science, technology, engineering, and math subjects. 5 AMAZING!
After looking over your collection the one word I would use to describe it is AMAZING! This collection contains a variety of resources that meet all learning styles. I also love that you chose resources on different energy types and not just energy in general. The resources are very useful for teachers to read in order to gain more knowledge about energy types before teaching about it to the students. I am one of those teachers; I have little to no knowledge about different energy types. Therefore, when I was reading each resource I was interested and intrigued because I was learning more about energy. As a matter of fact, I have decided to plan and teach a lesson on energy because I feel like the students will enjoy and have fun learning about energy. Your collection resources were extremely useful!
