You are talented: technology is not my thing! This is very useful because classrooms are becoming more and more modernized, and the class I am in uses Youtube videos all the time. These are great videos and I would definitely incorporate these in the lessons if I was in second grade!

In the classroom I am in, we use the science notebooks all the time. Students use them to write what they learned in science that day, draw pictures of things they observe or things we are doing, and they can even paste different recording sheets in there. I would say that you should use the notebook for whatever works for you based on what kinds of activities your class does.

Thanks for sharing this resource! I love the Smithsonian Education Center. I have found some great videos to use for Science lessons there, and they have videos and resources for children of all ages.
