Good section on biotechnology
I really liked this SciGuide for its resources on biotechnology. Usually, biotech is a large and vast subject where you search endlessly for information, but this SciGuide really condenses it for teacher consumption. Additionally, I really liked the forensics activity. In the section of inheritance, the links were good but the activity was very generic and did not have much specificity to the content.

This SciGuide is very informative about estuaries. Being that estuaries are commonly inhabited by large populations, it behooves students to learn about them. I enjoyed the lesson plan on Oil Spill Response and the NERRS. For my AP Environmental Science class, I think it is a good resource because we discuss many different land and water biomes. It is an interesting part of coastal environments that is often overlooked but is fragile and sensitive to pollution. This SciGuide is beneficial also for teachers who are unfamiliar with coastal environments.

Enjoyable, but not really place-based
This SciGuide was informative about the different Earth structures, including earthquakes, plate tectonics, and volcanoes. The lesson plans that it provided were all very rooted in technology and computer-based activities. This makes it very helpful for teachers/students who do not necessarily have access to the Earth structures on a daily basis. As a teacher with many examples of geology in my backyard, it makes more sense to go outside with my students rather than view it all online. Either way, both means of delivery give a good overview to students across the world.
