Ruth, A great place to start is the website from our department (MSED.IIT.EDU) Once on the site, click on Project ICAN and there will be numerous classroom tested activities. Some of these are stand-alone and some are embedded within the curriculum. There is also a book, edited by William McComas (publisjed by Kluwer). That book is being revised, but it won;t come out until the end of the year....
