4 Building in the Classroom
I thought this was a really good article on how to design and implement a building activity in an elementary classroom. Even if you don't decide to build the exact same thing as the article outlines, the procedures outlined by the article may be of great assistance. It was also extremely helpful to me in introducing the idea of using trade books within the classroom.

4 Gardening in Elementary
I thought this article was great at outlining just what was attempted and accomplished at the various grade ranges in elementary school. It's very helpful due to its explanations of the Next Generation Science Standards utilised at each level. The article also had some great ideas about using gardens in low income schools.
