This year has been tough for many in the paths of hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The storms devastated many communities and many residents are still working to get back on their feet. Doing what we can to support science teachers and schools, NSTA is offering a number of free resources and opportunities for those living and working in affected areas in Florida, Louisiana, or Texas. Free subscription to the NSTA Learning Center and Private Forum
The Learning Center is the source of unlimited professional learning resources and experiences for science educators. To activate your subscription, enter the promo code ENGAGE2017 in the promo code box at the bottom of this page. Remember: You must be logged-in to the Learning Center for the promo code box to appear. If after you login you still do not see the promo code box at the bottom of this page, please refresh your browser window.
Now that you have entered the promo code for your Learning Center subscription and private forum, you can search for and add fee-based resources to your library at no cost to you (Journal Articles, Science Objects, and SciPacks) - see Explore All Resources. The resources you add to your library during this period, will stay in your library for life (Exception: SciPacks, which will expire after one year).
To access the private forum, visit Forums & User Community and look to the left side of the page for a link to it. Use the forum to share resources, URLs, and to ask questions about science education topics.
