Get Energized: Interactive Generate! Game Explores Energy Choices and Environmental Quality

Dr. Rebecca Dodder
Dr. Rebecca Dodder Dr. Rebecca Dodder is a physical scientist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Research and Development. She uses computer modeling to explore what energy production and use in the U.S. may look like 10, 25 and even 50 years out into the future. The research goal is to understand both current and emerging environmental challenges and opportunities related to energy. Although originally trained in physics, Rebecca moved deeper into the interdisciplinary area of energy and the environment while working as a graduate student researcher on air quality and transportation in Mexico City. When not contemplating how our energy system will look like in 2050, she is busy keeping up with her six-year-old twin boys, who have recently decided to pursue the career tracks of herpetology and everything-ology.
