Enhance and Extend Your Professional Learning with the NSTA Learning Center
All web seminar participants use online tools that allow them to mark-up presenter's slides or share desktop applications in addition to engaging in chat with others online and answering poll questions

This web seminar took place on January 30, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. eastern standard time. The presenter was Flavio Mendez, Senior Director of the NSTA Learning Center.

Mr. Mendez began the presentation with an overview of the NSTA Learning Center. Then he shared examples of the Learning Center's free resources, including journal articles, lesson plans, and interactive content modules called Science Objects. Mr. Mendez shared step-by-step instructions for finding resources then gave participants time to try it out by adding resources to their own libraries in the Learning Center. Web seminar participants received a complimentary SciPack (10-hour interactive learning experiences valued at $18).

A certificate of attendance was deposited into participants' My PD Record and Certificate area in the NSTA Learning Center for completing the evaluation form at the end of the program.
