Developing a Competitive Teacher Award Application

This web seminar took place on October 15, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. eastern daylight time. The presenter was Carrie Launius, chair of the NSTA Teacher Awards and Recognition Committee. In this program Ms. Launius provided details on the 18 awards offered by NSTA in 2013-14.

For each of the 18 awards, Ms. Launius shared the application criteria and prize information. She talked about ways to develop a standout submission and encouraged web seminar participants to apply. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions via the chat.

A certificate of attendance was deposited into participants' My PD Record and Certificate area in the NSTA Learning Center for completing the evaluation form at the end of the program.
