Teach STEM Skills in Your Classroom Through eCYBERMISSION
Awards Luncheon

This web seminar took place on December 9, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. eastern daylight time. The presenters were Matt Hartman, eCYBERMISSION Content Coordinator and Chris Campbell, eCYBERMISSION Outreach Specialist.

In this web seminar the presenters provided an overview of eCYBERMISSION, a free, web-based STEM competition for students in grades 6–9. Participating educators learned how to guide students in selecting a topic, writing a problem statement, collecting and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions to share in a final presentation.

Here are some comments provided by the participants at the end of the Web Seminar:

  • "This was extremely valuable and informative. It is great to be able to log on and participate in PD activities like this after school from my home. It is very accessible."
  • "I liked the ideas that it shared. How the students can identify a problem and relate it to the real world."

Thanks to the participants and the presenter for the learning opportunity, the interactions, and a job well done!
