National Science Teachers Association Discover the NGSS: An Interactive Exploration of the Next Generation Science Standards

This web seminar took place on March 8, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The presenters were Leisa Clark, Producer/Director of eLearning Production at NSTA, and Ted Willard, Director of NGSS@NSTA.

Program abstract:
Learn how to put the pieces of the NGSS puzzle together with help from NSTA’s interactive e-book on the standards, Discover the NGSS: Primer and Unit Planner. Gain an overview of the e-book’s three modules—which provide context for the new standards, cover each of the three dimensions in depth, and include an interactive unit planner—and some ideas as to how you can use the e-book to enhance your own understanding or to learn with a group of colleagues.
