M. Gail Jones is a professor of science education in the Department of Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education at North Carolina State University. Jones earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from Appalachian State University and her PhD in science education from North Carolina State University (NC State.)




Michael R. Falvo Michael R. Falvo
Michael R. Falvo is a research associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he developed and taught a nanoscience first-year seminar. Falvo received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his master’s and doctoral degrees in physics from UNC.




Amy R. Taylor Amy R. Taylor
Amy R. Taylor taught high school biology and environmental science for 10 years and is a research assistant and doctoral student at NC State. Taylor earned a bachelor’s in science education/biology and master’s in science education from East Carolina University.
