Checked out this web site after reviewing Jennifer Basalari's review. Wonderful interactive website. Students can read and review information about the rock cycle. Includes animations. I will use this as a major resource for my students next school year.

This is an interactive website that portrays the parts of the rock cycle. Students will be able to explore the rock cycle in all phases. This could be used as a class or groups. I highly recommend.

This interactive offers lots of possibilities for connecting the rock cycle to other aspects of Earth Science. However, I found the graphics a little too small for how I intend to use them. If you intend to allow students to have their own technology (laptop, PC, etc...), and have them navigate independently, then this interactive should be fine. However, I intend to use the interactive graphic on my SmartBoard, and for that purpose, it is a little too small. I like how students could explore the connections to plate tectonics from the same website. Overall, I would recommend this interactive for independent student work.
