This article is about a class of kindergarteners learning about inventions. Several steps led up to students making their own inventions. First they went on a walk to find inventions and learned what an invention was....something man made to solve a problem. Then the teacher read books about some inventors. Students discussed what types of inventions they might make and then made a model or an actual invention. It is amazing what young students can learn and accomplish with the right approach to teaching.
