An opinion piece about elementary engineering.
This article looks at what science has "accidentally" been in the classrooms for the past couple decades. The way schools have interpreted the science method was not what it was intended for. This article does a wonderful job of explaining what engineering should look like in a classroom. I believe it also has a caring, open, and relational focus, which should be important in every classroom. Teaching like this article recommends, students will be more okay with trying again which I believe is an important skill to teach kids at a young age. I would recommend all teachers read this article.
