It’s almost May and review for final exams will soon be in full swing. Mother’s Day is celebrated every second Sunday in May. Have students combine their use of science vocabulary and their love for Mom by creating scientific Mother’s Day greeting cards.

The author of this article had students create Mother's Day cards using science vocabulary. It made for some interesting cards and expressed students' love of their mothers while showing their understanding of their science vocabulary.

This science teacher decided to make mother’s day more significant to students by helping her students to create a Mother’s Day card to act as a review exercise for her students. The parameters of the activity are presented and there are two student sample cards shown.
