This Web Seminar, sponsored by the NASA Explorer Schools, was delivered twice, on October 30, and on November 6, 2007, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Presenting was Jonathan Neubauer, Education Specialist at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The web seminar focused on the recent space shuttle mission STS-118 that launched the first Educator Astronaut to the International Space Station. The presenter also talked about the educational programs designed to engage teachers and students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) activities.
