This web seminar took place on November 18, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The presenter was Ruth Ruud, a past- and present chair of a number of awards and recognition committees and judging chair for the Shell Science Lab Challenge.
During this program, Ms. Ruud provided strategies and advice for applying for the Shell Science Lab Challenge, an award that recognizes middle and high school science teachers who illustrate replicable approaches to science lab instruction while using limited school and laboratory resources. For this competition, teachers have the opportunity to share an exemplary approach to teaching in a science laboratory with minimal equipment. The winner receives a school science lab makeover support package valued at $20,000!
