This chapter provides very basic terminology to describe light. The book provides many figures to help aid in the explanation. Furthermore, it would be a good tool for teachers when trying to explain light to younger children.

This explains light in very basic terms. This is a good resource to explain light in terms kids can understand. This was a good book for a teacher that wants confidence teaching science.
