I highly recommend this book to all, especially for beginning teachers and new parents. As a future teacher I got lots of ideas to make science more inquiry based learning rather than learning science as merely a body of facts. The emphasis and examples given in the book shows us how we can move from a cook book approach to an authentic investigation built upon questions generated by the students themselves ensuring a focus on inquiry for all.
