This is an excellent tool that helps science educators address 25 common student misconceptions. Each misconception begins with a student assessment probe and is followed by teacher notes that detail the concept. The teacher notes not only include details about the concept, but also provide conceptual links and reference materials for further investigation. I really like how the teacher notes for each misconception outline teaching ideas broken down by grade level (for instance K-2, 3-5, etc). This unique feature make this book an excellent resource for science teachers at any grade level.
