While the full implementation of the leadership approach recommended in this chapter has many facets, the foundation of that leadership style is to “keep you eye on the prize.” That is, every decision should consider at its nucleus how it will support the overall mission and goals of the organization. This chapter deals with six components of a leadership process that addresses the full range of leadership and management functions needed to put this approach into practice.
