The first of two web seminars on the topic of Polar Climates, How Are They Changing? was held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The presenter was Dr. Doug Williams, Carolina Trustee Professor of Marine and Geological Sciences at the University of South Carolina and Scientist-in-Residence at the Edventure Children’s Museum. Dr. Doug talked about the climate changes taking place in the Arctic and Antarctic and how these changes are affecting the polar regions. I was able to download the powerpoint, but unable to access the audio archive. The powerpoint information is based on evidence in data - very usable in a classroom!
