A partnership brought a community together for a science night that included a planetarium, telescopes, and science activity centers.
Four groups came together containing teachers, the PTA representative, the school principal, the district’s science supervisor, and a university professor came together to develop elementary science programming. This group decided to have a night of star gazing. The agenda and time frame for this event is provided with input and duties of different groups. This is something that might be easily replicated in any elementary school.
