This EXCELLENT article about energy drinks should be published in all the NSTA journals. It is very informative and describes the pros and cons of drinking energy drinks. It gets into the chemistry of energy drinks and what they do to the human body.

I gave this subject a semi high rating. I think that this should important to share with students and even other educators on the consumption of energy drinks. There are many side effects but most of all the possibility of death from this. I have seen and even coached some High School runners that were drinking these drinks during the day and even 30minutes before our practices. I shared with them other articles about this to help them understand the circumstances.
