Here is what our teachers told us about the NGSS Virtual Conference--

  • "I learned useful strategies that I will use in the classroom. I also do not feel so overwhelmed about the implementation of the CCSS in the science classroom."
  • "I loved the video of the chemistry students grappling with the text about acids and bases. We need to read in science BECAUSE it's hard. Elementary students need to move beyond "just right" books. This conference gave me some tools to help them do that."
  • "Format was very smooth and convenient. Presenters shared quite a bit in such a compact amount of time. It was helpful to know the archives will be available for further reflection, and also to see the session I couldn't register for."
  • "This is a great way to get professional development without much expense."
